Picture a Healthy Community
We Need Your Photos!
To counter the frequent negative and unhealthy images portrayed of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) and Allied people and our families, The Center’s Community Programs Department is seeking your photos of our diverse, healthy community!
We ask that your photo that shows the portrayal of LGBT and Allied persons engaged in a healthy, tobacco-free activity. All images must be in .jpg format and have been taken by a self-identified LGBTQ or Allied person living in Colorado.
Please submit images in as high a resolution as possible, at least 300 dpi, while restricting your maximum file size to 1 MB. All images should be emailed to cstafford@glbtcolorado.org. Photos may be color or black & white. If selected, your photo may appear on The Center’s webstie. Your photo may also used to help promote The Center’s 9News Health Fair on April 20th and the Healthy Living Area at PrideFest this June.
In the “Artist’s Statement” section of the submission form please tell us any interesting information about where/how you took the image and describe what you believe it demonstrates in terms of conveying healthy, tobacco-free community. You will be asked to provide your name, address, phone, and email.
You are solely and legally responsible for ensuring that you have full permission and release to use the depiction of any person (s), places, and things in the photo for this contest. These images will become the property of The Center. Please download, print out and submit with your photos with our Terms of Use to Christi Stafford, cstafford@glbtcolorado.org.
